This page provides users of The Staffy Trail mobile application with a direct way to manage their personal data and exercise their right to erasure. This application is developed and maintained by Haywyre LLP.

1. Request Account Deletion

In accordance with App Store and Google Play requirements, you may request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data. You do not need to be logged into the app to submit this request.

Alternatively, you may email our support team directly at support@haywyre.co.uk with the subject line “The Staffy Trail – Deletion Request.”

2. What Data is Deleted?

When you request an account deletion for The Staffy Trail, the following actions are taken:
Personal Identity: Your email address, name, and profile credentials are purged from our primary database.

  1. App Progress: All saved trail progress, “Staffy” collected markers, favorites, and custom itineraries are permanently removed.
  2. Third-Party Data: We notify our secure cloud hosting providers to remove any cached user data associated with your ID.

3. Data Retention Policy

Processing Time: Requests are processed within 30 days.

Retention for Legal Reasons: We only retain data that we are legally required to keep. This data is archived and never used for marketing or tracking.

Anonymized Data: We may retain aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics (e.g., “how many times a trail marker was scanned”) to improve the app for future users.
